![]() It would've been a rad case back then, now it's just a reminiscing replica of a bygone era, except for the glass side panel of course. Its not a bad case, but youre definitely going to want to upgrade the default fan configuration a bit. I have since just gotten tired of the regular rectangular box and just went open air. Id just add a single 140 up top, or 2x 120s, as long as the 1st fan doesnt interfere with air entering a cpu tower cooler - this doesnt apply to area coolers like the Wraith. Maybe, just maybe, it would've made sense in 1992 back when PCs didn't generate nearly as much heat as today, with graphics cards that didn't even came with heatsinks and only high end CPUs were actively cooled. Had the elite with an aftermarket airflow panel. It comes with 3 fans - 2x 200mm in the front, and a single 120mm in the rear. Thing is, you're not cooking a thanksgiving turkey inside the case, but trying to use PC parts, I'm not sure who designed that case and why it exists at all considering how terrible the performance is, but I'm sure it wasn't someone who knows anything about modern computers, like, not even the basics of them. We’re checking out the NZXT H9 ELITE, a mainly aesthetic-oriented mid-sized ATX tower PC chassis, this time. Was glad I did rather than cramming the card with no clearance. I originally got the H500i and swapped it. H510i probably is a little lesser by only having 1 top fan but Im sure youll be ok still. The front fans are basically useless in that case as they can't really suck any fresh air inside to cool the components, they behave the same way as fans in a convection oven, moving air around without lowering its temperature. Hey everyone, I recently switch to a new motherboard and switched to Ryzen 3600. Even if you flip fans you'll still have similar temps.
